Interesting post. Perhaps there is a niche market for studs. Most of the beaders who come to my beginner workshops prefer fish hooks. Pearl

I agree with your beaders. It is much more creative to be making earrings with fish hooks as there is actually design work involved. To make stud earrings is rather boring - there isn't any fun or creativity involved!
